               As a physical therapist and orthopedic clinical specialist, I often recommend massage to my clients for maintenance care of their bodies--to help keep their muscles and other soft tissues supple and loose and to help in their generalized pain reduction.  I believe strongly that self-care and self-nurturing are critical components of a healthy lifestyle.  I discuss this philosophy regularly with my patients, many of whom suffer from overstressed and overworked minds and bodies.
